应pc加拿大预测准确率王智诚教授和张亮博士的邀请，上海理工大学余志先副教授将于2018年3月9日至3月11日访问兰州大学,期间将举办专题学术报告。
报告题目：Existence and exponential stability of traveling waves for delayed reaction-diffusion systems
报告摘要：The purpose of this work is to investigate the existence and exponential stability of traveling wave solutions for general delayed multi-component reaction-diffusion systems. Following the monotone iteration scheme via an explicit construction of a pair of upper and lower solutions, we first obtain the existence of monostable traveling wave solutions connecting two different equilibria. Then, applying the techniques of weighed energy method and comparison principle, we show that all solutions of the Cauchy problem for the considered systems converge exponentially to traveling wave solutions provided that the initial perturbations around the traveling wave fronts belong to a suitable weighted Sobolev space. This talk is based on a joint work with Cheng-Hsiung Hsu and Tsi-Sheng Yang，Nonlinearity 31 (2018) 838–863.

余志先副教授简介
余志先，理学博士，上海理工大学副教授、硕士生导师，上海理工大学“志远学者”。博士毕业于北京师范大学，师从袁荣教授。2015年7月8日-2016年7月8日，访问加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学赵晓强教授，麦吉尔大学梅茗教授。先后作为负责人主持国家自然基金青年项目1项、上海市教委优秀青年教师项目1项、上海市创新项目1项。已在《Nonlinearity》、《Journal of Differential Equations》、《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems-Series A》、《Z. Angew. Math. Phy.》(ZAMP)、《Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society》、《Nonlinear Analysis: RWA》、《IMA Journal of Applied Mathematics》、《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems-Series B》《Applicable Analysis》、《Osaka Journal of Mathematics》等国外重要学术期刊上被SCI收录第一作者或通讯作者论文近30篇。
