报告题目:Trajectory attractors for 3DNavier-Stokes equations revisited

报告摘要:
We discuss thetrajectory attractors for the 3DNavier-Stokes equations.It is well-known that global attractors of evolutionary PDEs are usually connected. This is based on a simple topological fact that an ω-limit set ω(B) of a connected set B is connected if the corresponding DS is continuous (may be not true if it only has a closed graph). However, the situation with trajectory attractors is more delicate since it is a priori not clear whether or not the corresponding trajectory phase space is connected (and as we have seen above, it may be not connected at least for the trajectory attractors of elliptic PDEs). Nevertheless, in many cases, the trajectory attractors related with evolutionary PDEs remain connected. We discuss this theory based on the model example of 3D Navier-Stokes equations.

Sergey Zelik,兰州大学高端人才特聘教授。于1989-1994进入莫斯科大学数学与物理学院学习,1994-1998在莫斯科国立大学攻读博士,师从Mark Vishik教授,于1998年获得数学博士学位,2004年获得数学物理科学博士学位(Habilitation);2003-2005在德国Stuttgart大学作洪堡学者,2015年晋升为教授。
Sergey Zelik教授在无穷维动力系统吸引子相关问题的研究取得了较好的工作,特别是耗散系统吸引子的存在性、正则性问题,以及吸引子降维问题等。先后在Comm. Pure Appl. Math.,Mem. Amer. Math. Soc.,Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.,Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.等国际学术期刊上发表学术论文近百篇。
